Who this is about

VINTIQUE is a collection of antique and vintage pieces gathered by Rashid Beig Mirza. This page explains how the website handles personal details. You can browse the whole store without an account and without giving us anything.

What we collect

  • Account: your name and email address, and a password (kept only in a scrambled form that we cannot read). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
  • Saved addresses: if you add a delivery address to your account, the name, phone number and address you type.
  • Orders: when you agree a purchase with us on WhatsApp, we record your name, phone number and delivery address, an email address if you give one, the pieces, their prices and the order status. We enter these ourselves.
  • Contact form: the name, email address, topic and message you type are sent to us by email.
  • WhatsApp: messages you send us on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp. They are not part of this website, and WhatsApp has its own privacy policy.
  • Security records: when someone signs in, signs up or resets a password, we keep a short record that shows when it happened and whether it worked. The email address in it is masked and the network address is scrambled, so the record does not show them. A counter of recent attempts per network address stops repeated guessing.

Why we collect it

We do not collect anything we do not need. We do not ask for a date of birth, identity documents or card details, and the website takes no payments.

  • To run your account and keep you signed in. We ask you to sign in when you tap to continue to WhatsApp about a piece, so that we can keep your bookings and order updates together.
  • To arrange a purchase, send the piece by India Post and tell you its tracking number.
  • To answer your questions.
  • To keep the website safe from abuse.

Where it is stored

We use these services to run the website. Each one handles your details only to do its own job.

  • Neon: the database that holds accounts, saved addresses and orders. It is hosted in Singapore.
  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • Cloudinary: stores and delivers the photographs and videos of the pieces. It holds no buyer details.
  • Resend: sends the emails the website sends, such as an email to confirm your address, a password reset and the contact form message.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: a check, on the sign-in, sign-up and contact forms, that tells people from automated programs.
  • Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Who can see it

Rashid Beig Mirza and the few people he gives admin access can see accounts and orders, because they need them to look after your purchase. The services above process data for us. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for advertising. The website has no advertising or tracking scripts.

How long we keep it

We keep account details while the account exists, and order details for as long as we may need them, for example to follow a parcel or answer a question after a sale. We do not keep your details for longer than that without a reason. Security records are kept briefly.

A copy, a correction or deletion

Message us on WhatsApp and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, for something to be corrected, or for it to be deleted. We handle these requests by hand. You can also change or delete your saved addresses yourself from your account.

Deleting an account does not by itself remove the details written on past orders. Tell us if you also want those removed and we will do it.

Cookies and what your browser remembers

We use only the cookies the website needs to work: the one that keeps you signed in and a few for security. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The Cloudflare check on our forms may set its own security cookie.

Your own browser also remembers a few things on your device, such as the pieces in your cart, whether you closed the availability notice, and whether you chose "Not now" on the install prompt. These stay on your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
